RCB Fullboard serves as an advisory body for the residential colleges here at Northwestern University. Our membership is composed of the presidents of the ten residential colleges and seven executive officers. The president presides over the board and coordinates long-term planning. Each of the six vice presidents specializes in an area specifically relevant to the residential college community: academic affairs, financial affairs, inter-college relations, philanthropic affairs, public relations, and social affairs.

We hold general meetings every week in which we deal with issues that arise during the week in individual colleges, plan activities for the entire residential college community, and discuss items for presentation to the University. In addition to these weekly meetings, the Executive Board meets every week to guide the Fullboard’s agenda.

The Residential College Board is responsible for a number of large-scale social events every year, including RCB Formal in the fall, Quiz Bowl in winter, and RCB Field Day in the spring.
